Contribute to the Development of the Labégorre Endowment Fund for Painting
The purpose of the Labégorre Endowment Fund is to preserve, perpetuate, exhibit, and circulate the works of Serge Labégorre — a French painter — both in France and internationally. It aims to protect his image and that of his work, and to collect and safeguard any object, text, photo, or manuscript related to his life and career, under conditions that best enhance and showcase his artistic legacy.
The Fund’s museum space is dedicated to presenting moving early works by Serge Labégorre, many inspired by the southern Landes coastline, the Béarn, and Biarritz — regions dear to the artist’s heart. It also displays rare and valuable documents, the first fruits of the Fund’s archival and preservation work, contributing to the conservation of both French and Aquitaine artistic heritage.
In addition, visitors can view contemporary paintings by the artist on a permanent basis.
Committed to supporting local cultural development, the Endowment Fund seeks to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to promote inclusive cultural outreach. This includes school visits, workshops, drawing classes, and art courses. It also contributes to the emergence of new artistic events and hosts various meetings and gatherings.

Since November 28, 2014, the first museum space dedicated to French painter Serge Labégorre has opened its doors in Seignosse.
This permanent educational space, free and open to all, offers visitors the opportunity to view the artist’s early works, browse or purchase various publications dedicated to him, and follow his artistic journey and evolution through posters, documents, and testimonials.
